F. Hunter Short, Consulting Manager, graduated from the University of Colorado Denver Business School with a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance in 2017. In 2019, Hunter joined Causey as an analyst and became a manager in 2023. Before his time at Causey, Hunter gained experience at Charles Schwab which laid the groundwork for his expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and client relations. Other career experience includes financial structuring and municipal bond verification studies, security bidding agent, debt and escrow restructuring, investment of bond proceeds, model development, metro district financial forecast studies and commercial loan defeasance verifications.

Hunter enjoys spending time with his wife, dog, and family in the Colorado area. He is an avid enthusiast of the great outdoors and enjoys golfing, snowboarding, playing hockey, traveling and rooting for his favorite sports teams - the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks and Colorado Avalanche.
